Presenter Biography

Dan Lucas is the Senior Manager of Project Controls & Finance at NexGen Contracting, where he oversees the Project Controls/Finance, Technical, and Quality departments. Prior to joining NexGen, he spent seven years at Helix Steel, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales.

Dan is an associate member of ACI Committees 130 (Sustainability of Concrete), 201 (Durability of Concrete), and 330 (Concrete Parking Lots and Site Paving). He recently helped rewrite Chapter 9—Sustainability in ACI 330 and currently serves as President of ACI West Michigan.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Grand Valley State University, as well as an MBA in Operations/Manufacturing from Ball State University. Dan is also a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).
