The Decorative Concrete Hall of Fame was established in 2010 by Professional Trade Publications, the parent company of Concrete Decor magazine, to recognize the pioneers, innovators, craftspeople, educators, manufacturers, and companies whose contributions have helped shape and advance the decorative concrete industry.

 From its beginning, the Hall of Fame was intended to recognize more than outstanding craftsmanship. Its purpose is to honor individuals and companies that have gone beyond the call of duty to promote decorative concrete as both a thriving business and a constantly evolving art form. Inductees are recognized for achievements, leadership, innovation, and a commitment to excellence that have helped decorative concrete grow into an important and respected segment of the concrete construction industry.

 For many years, Hall of Fame inductees were recognized in conjunction with the Concrete Decor Show. When that event was discontinued, new inductions ceased after 2019. Recognizing the importance of preserving the Hall of Fame and its history, Concrete Decor entrusted its continuation to the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC). Beginning in 2025, ASCC assumed responsibility for administering and carrying forward the Decorative Concrete Hall of Fame through its Decorative Concrete Council (DCC).

 The transition to ASCC provides the Hall of Fame with a permanent industry home closely aligned with its original purpose. The DCC's mission is to advance decorative concrete contractors through education and networking, while ASCC provides the organizational resources and industry reach necessary to preserve the Hall of Fame's legacy for future generations.

 Today, the ASCC Decorative Concrete Hall of Fame serves both as a recognition of extraordinary achievement and as a record of the people and organizations that built the decorative concrete industry. By carrying forward the Hall of Fame established by Concrete Decor, ASCC is committed to honoring its history, recognizing today's leaders and preserving their knowledge, accomplishments, and contributions for the next generation of decorative concrete professionals.
